What Is MarieMUN?

MarieMUN, short for Marie Sklodowska-Curie Model United Nations, is a conference in Warsaw for students who want to develop their debating skills, learn how international diplomacy works, and engage with global challenges shaped by science, medicine and innovation.

The conference connects classic Model UN debate with topics linked to biology, public health, ethics, technology and international policy. The goal is to create a space where diplomacy meets curiosity, critical thinking and scientific ambition.

MarieMUN welcomes both first-time delegates and experienced participants. Through committee sessions, negotiations and collaborative problem-solving, delegates explore how global decisions are made and how scientific progress can influence the future of international cooperation.

Hosted in Warsaw, the city where Marie Sklodowska-Curie's story began, MarieMUN brings together the next generation of speakers, researchers and young leaders in an environment built around confidence, ambition and meaningful debate.
